Biography

Lydia Cleaver was born on 24th June 1866 in Church Gresley, Derbyshire, England. She was the daughter of Richard Cleaver and Mary Sharp. ^[1][2][3]

In 1871, Mary Ann Sharp (42) and her daughter, Lydia Cleaver (4, born in Gresley, Derbyshire) were in the house of her widowed mother, Ann Sharp (64) in Lutterworth. ^[4]

In 1881, Lydia Cleaver (14) was a domestic servant to William Sutton, Main Road, Brinklow, Warwickshire. ^[5]

In 1891, Lydia Cleaver (24) was a domestic servant in the household of Samuel Rose, in Chorlton, Lancashire. ^[6]

In 1901, Lydia Cleaver (34) was a domestic servant in the household of Robert D Gill, Chorlton cum Hardy, Lancashire ^[7]

Lydia Cleaver was married to George Bottrill in 1912 in Burton upon Trent. ^[8]

In 1939, Lydia Bottrill (widow, born 24 June 1866) was living at 14 Curzon Street, Market Bosworth. Married couple, Charles W and Annie M Mannion were living with her. ^[9]

Lydia Bottrill died age 89 years, in Market Bosworth District, Leicestershire in 1955. ^[10]
