Biography
William Jessup Cleaver was born in Tippecanoe Co, Indiana on 3 Nov 1915, the son of Allen G Cleaver and Irene Jessup Cleaver. He worked as an Actuary in Frankfort at the time of his marriage to Anne Katharine Hoffman on 20 May 1950, in Allen County, Indiana.[1]
Anne was born on 26 Dec 1914 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, the daughter of Edward George Hoffman and Emily Rozencrantz Hoffman. She was living at Hickoryhurst, Ft Wayne, Indiana, where she was an artist.[1]

William's father was a teacher who was born in Ohio. His mother was a housewife who was born in Indiana. Both his parents were living in Carmel, Indiana, at the time of the marriage. William signed the application and most likely provided this information.[1]
Anne's father was a lawyer born in Allen Co, Indiana, and was deceased at the time of the marriage. Her mother was a housewife who was born in Fort Wayne and was also living at Hickoryhurst at the time of the marriage. Anne signed the application and most likely provided this information.[1]
