William Jessup Cleaver was born in Tippecanoe Co, Indiana on 3 Nov 1915, the son of Allen G Cleaver and Irene Jessup Cleaver. He worked as an Actuary in Frankfort at the time of his marriage to Anne Katharine Hoffman on 20 May 1950, in Allen County, Indiana.^[1]

Anne was born on 26 Dec 1914 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, the daughter of Edward George Hoffman and Emily Rozencrantz Hoffman. She was living at Hickoryhurst, Ft Wayne, Indiana, where she was an artist.^[1]
