Elizabeth Ellen Crook died 30 November 1948 at The Royal Infirmary, Preston, Lancashire.[12]
She was 81 years of age.[13]
Administration granted 10 February 1949 to her sons Ernest Clegg and Cecil Staton Clegg.[12]
