Biography

When Anne Mary Reif Clemens was born in 1711 [4][5] in Lower Salford, Pennsylvania, her father, Gerhart, was 31, and her mother, Anneli, was 31. She married Hans "John" Ulrich Burgy in 1726 [2][3]. They had 11 children in 23 years. She died in May 1789 [4][5][6] in her hometown, having lived a long life of 78 years, and was buried in Harleysville [4][5], Pennsylvania.

Heckler, in his History of Lower Salford township, says that “there is some reason to believe that she was a daughter of Gerhart Clemens,” but the reason for this has not been discovered. The records of the Clemens family do not support this theory.

Anne Mary was born in 1709. She passed away in 1789.

Clemmens-118 and Clemens-1333 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicates.

Hi Bruce, Thank you for the followup. I've completed the first merge you've suggested of BBerky-26 into Bergey-57. However I'm not sure who you mean as s"Burgi(umlaut on the u)". Are you intending to first update the wife on Hns Burgi?

Clemmens-118 and Clemens-1333 are not ready to be merged because: Resolve conflicts

First, you should merge your new Berky-26 into Bergey-57, then your new Berky-27 into Burgi(umlaut on the u), and then this one into Clemmens-1333.

Clemmens-118 and Clemens-1333 appear to represent the same person because: I didn't find the Clemens-1333 quickly enough or would have selected this one as ancestor. Internet connection was off and I didn't realize this one existed. They are the same person, with same spouse, names, etc.
Clemens-2496 and Clemens-1333 appear to represent the same person because: probably there was confusion in their creation with the change in the spelling of husband's last name once arriving to the Americas.

Though the names of the children are different, there should be a total of 11 children listed, and the children listed on both profiles are among the 11 - see The Genealogy of the Bergey Family, page 5.

Saw the duplication when I was going to add Gerhart Clemens as the father for Clemens-2496

Clemens-1333 and Clemens-1512 appear to represent the same person because: These two are a merge of the spouse of John Ulrich Bergey. According to the "Genealogy of the Bergey family : a record of the descendants of John Ulrich Bergey and his wife Mary" [database on-line]. Provo, UT: Ancestry.com Operations Inc, 2005, the actual name of John's wife isn't confirmed but all the dates and relationships fit for these two to be merged.
