Elizabeth was born about 1816. She is the daughter of William Clemens and Frances Williams.
In 1836, Elizabeth Clemens married James Moore on Christmas Day at St James, Bath in Somerset. Sarah Clemens and William Wash ? were their witnesses.

James Moore was employed as an Inland Revenue Officer (Excise Man).
Four known children were born in their marriage, William 1838 at Trowbridge, James 1840 and Elizabeth 1844 at Hilperton, Wiltshire and Frances 1845 at Benson, Oxfordshire.
By 1851 they were living in Buckinghamshire and employed a Servant, Isabella Stevens. The family next moved to the Parish of Bermondsey in Surrey.
Elizabeth (Clemens) Moore died in 1861 aged 45 at Pimlico. She is buried at Brookwood Cemetery, Brookwood.
