Biography
George (Ted) is the son of George Clemens and Cecilia Jensen.
His father was widowed and later remarried to Emma Daphne Balks in the early 1940's.
George married in 1950 to Emma's daughter Cleater.
George worked primarily as a Labourer until the 1950's when he moved to Castlecliff, Taranaki with Cleater and his father. His brother Ray was also there and they both worked as Fishermen.
In the early 60's, George and Cleater moved to Wanganui and George took on employment as a Painter.
Cleater's mother, widowed a second time, also moved with them.
George and Cleater had 3 known children in their marriage.
He died age 76 and was cremated at Hamilton Park.[1]
