Date and Place of Birth

Based on his date of marriage (1597), John was probably born sometime in 1570-1576. Based on the fact that his father appears to have lived his entire life in Croft, Leicestershire, John was no doubt born there.

Marriage and Children

John married widow Elizabeth (Unknown) Warren on 2 Nov 1597 in St. Martin's, Leicestershire.^[1]

John and Elizabeth had the following children:

1. Robert, bpt. 4 Mar 1609/1610 in Leire, Leicestershire^[1]
2. Elizabeth, bpt. 13 Apr 1612 in Leire^[1]
3. Christopher, bpt. 21 May 1615 in Leire^[1]

Since John was married in 1597, he probably had additional children before Robert.
