Eliza (Clements) Kendall was a Latter Day Saint pioneer.

Biography

Eliza Ann Clements entered the Salt Lake Valley with the Daniel Spencer/Ira Eldredge in 19-20 Sept. 1847. She was 13 yrs old. Her brother James may have been with a portion of this train, arriving close to the same time. Eliza's mother did not arrive in the Salt Lake Valley until 1852. . . Eliza Ann's Marriage: 17 Jun 1848; Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. . She delivered 3 children in Salt Lake City; by 30 Nov. 1852 when Levi married her sister Elizabeth. . By the birth of her 5th child, this family was living in Springville, Utah, Utah. and the remainder of Levi's children were all born in Springville. . .With the exception of Eliza Ann's youngest, if Betsy was born in Oxford, Idaho. This is a possibility because Eliza Ann left this plural marriage and moved to Idaho, where about 1874 Eliza married John Crossley and delivered to son's George Emanueal 1876-1933 {my connectio} and William Henry. . .Eliza 45 is found with John Crossley 65; the 1880 Census in Weston, Oneida, Idaho though neither of these boys are. . .John Crossley died 12 March 1888.

Eliza's sister Elizabeth also left Levi. Some time after the death of John Crossley, Eliza Ann returned to Levi. An Index for Levi N. Kendall {70} and Eliza Clements {64} Married 6 Sept. 1897 in Springville, Utah, Utah. ..Eliza is found in the 1900 Census in Mapleton, Utah, Utah with Levi. ..and 1910 Census widow with son David in Mapleton, Utah, Utah. 1880 Census shows Elizabeth {Eliza's sister and sisterwife} with Levi in Springville, Utah, Utah.
