Henry Clements was born in about 1749 in Bryantown, Charles, Maryland. He was the son of Francis Clements [1] and Elizabeth (Sanders) Clements. [2]
Henry Clements enlisted in the Maryland Line on 28 February 1777 and was promoted to corporal on 1 August 1777 and to sergeant on 1 June 1779. On 2 November 1781, as Lt. Henry Clements, he was acting captain of his company. [3] He was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati.
He married Eleanor (Wethington) Clements. He passed away in about 1830 in Casey Creek, Adair County, Kentucky, United States.
