Biography
Daughter of Philip Clements and Mary Jane Currie. Sister of James Nelson Clements, who married Annie Maud McArthur, and Mary Eliza Clements who married William Jabez McDougall.
She married William James McArthur on November 9 1887 in Summerside.
In 1900, the family was living in Watertown, Massachusetts. The three children listed were Ethel (1888), Lester (1889), and Hillard (1891). The couple had been married 17 years and had had 3 children by that date. William was working as a starch maker. In 1910, the children listed were Lester, Stanley, Marion, Verna and Olive. By 1920, only Marion, Verna and Olive were at home. In 1930, the family was in Waltham, Massachusetts. William was 71, Florence 63, Marion 28 and Verna 26.
