Research Notes
Wm III's first son was named Parker in the family Bible. Benajah Parker was a witness for his grandfather's 1760 will, it seems possible that Wm Sr's wife, Ann, was a Parker. Benajah Parker migrated to Richmond Co NC c 1789 with his possible cousin, John Clements, son of Cpt Benjamin Clement of Pittsylvania Co VA, eldest son of Wm Sr and Ann.
In 1776, William was legatee of 250 acres of land on which he lived in Bedford Co VA, belonging to his father in law, Samuel Gilbert. He was the William named as 2nd son in the will of William Clement Jr who died in Amelia Co VA in 1766,
