Sarah was born about 1683. She is the daughter of Benjamin Clements and Grizzell Coleman. Sarah was baptized with her twin sister Mary on the 5 January 1683/4 at Abingdon Parish, Gloucester Co., Virginia

It would seem that three of the children died in infancy and the names were reused on subsequent children

The 3rd largest group is Group 8 which includes the descendants of Cpt Francis Clement of Surry and Isle of Wight Co VA (1660-1718), the many descendants of Benjamin of Gloucester Co VA (c1655-1715+), through his son George who died in Bertie Co NC in 1729, Benjamin's grandson Peyton Clements c1725-1775 who was in Granville Co NC with Benjamin's son Richard. In early VA, Cpt. Francis of Isle of Wight Co VA 1660-1717 was a probable brother or cousin of Benjamin of Gloucester Co VA b.c. 1655, d.after 1714, as their descendants are a perfect DNA match.

Most of these are descendants of Benjamin Clements of Gloucester Co VA, c 1655-1707+ through his son George c 1695-1729 Bertie Co NC, and his grandson Peyton Clements c 1725-1775 and his cousin, Cpt Francis Clements 1660-1717 Surry and Isle of Wight Co VA.
