Truman was born in 1908. He was the son of Jesse Clemmons and Luella Hockenberry. He passed away in 1925.
OBITUARY-CLEMMONS
Truman Clemmons was born May 25, 1908, near Wakefield, and passed away at Portsmouth General hospital October 5, 1925, at the age of 17 years, 4 months and 10 days. He was the son of Frank and Louella Clemmons.
His mother preceded him in death September 21, 1919. He was also preceded by an infant brother and sister and a brother, Harley Franklin. He is survived by his father, step-mother, two sisters, Mrs. Glen Jarrel and Loretta Marie, and a half-sister, Janet Louise; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Clemmons and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hockenberry, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon of last week from the Wakefield church, with Rev. John Kemper in charge. Burial was made in Bailey’s Chapel, where he was laid to rest beside his mother.
