OBITUARY
Mrs. Earl Brown
Mrs. Earl Brown, wife of Earl Brown, prominent farmer of Stockdale, died at Athens, O., Wednesday. Mrs. Brown was a patient at the Athens institution for over six years. Her wide circle of friends in and near Stockdale will be sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Brown, who was a willing worker and Christian woman of strong faith. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to a friend in need.
Besides the husband, Mrs. Brown leaves two children, Edith eight years of age, and Ernest six years of age, who make their homes with relatives at Wakefield. The body was taken to Wakefield Friday to the home of Mrs. Brown’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff[sic] Clemens[sic]. Funeral services were held from the house of a brother, Frank Brown, Friday afternoon. Burial was made in Salt Creek cemetery.
