Jessie Leo Clemons, 82, of Parkway Medical Center, died Monday at Baptist Hospital Highlands.

He was a native of Grayson County, a retired farmer, and a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church.

Survivors include five sons, James A. Clemons of Leitchfield, Leo Clemons of Tampa, Fla., Paul Clemons of Greenwood, Ind., Samy T., and Joseph R. Clemons; six daughters, Leona Drake of Shelbyville, Ind., Rudell Higdon, and Rosetta Sullivan, both of Valley Station, Diena Greenwell, Angeline Wright, and Joanna Crist; four sisters, Effie Lush of Austin, Ind., Clara Hill of Leitchfield, Roseline White and Della Alvey; 34 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. CDT Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Wax, with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson after 11 a.m. CDT Wednesday.
