James Clark, Gent. was born circa 1540 at East Farleigh, Kent, England;[1] he was the second son.[2]

He married Mary Saxby, daughter of Sir Edward Saxby, Baron of the Exchequer and Elizabeth Fisher, circa 1565. They had 4 sons & 4 daughters:[1][3][4]

I recommend detaching Anne Boland as a spouse on this profile. There is no source supporting her and their marriage date is listed as before James was born.

Also, I would like to echo Ellenore's previous post--there are two Elizabeth's listed as children, and one of them is not sourced by Richardson.
