Ordinary Seaman, D/JX 239035, Royal Navy Additional Information: Age 25. Son of George and Louisa Clerke, of Enfield, Middlesex. Memorial: Plymouth Naval Memorial, Panel 49, Column 1.

On December 10, 1941, lost at sea, directly as a result of, the sinking of HMS Prince of Wales following attacks by Japanese military aircraft off Kuantan, Malaya on 10th December 1941[1], [2]

Commemorated at the Plymouth Naval Memorial[3]
