Jessie G. Cleveland Markham
SPANISH FORK, February 2--Mrs. Jessie G. Cleveland Markham, 81, died Saturday at her home in Spanish Fork. She was widely known as "Aunt Jessie."
Born at Centerville, Davis County, she was a daughter of Henry Rogers Cleveland and Margaret Boyack Cleveland. She was married to Hosmer M. Markham, January 7, 1891, in the Logan Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mrs. Markham was active in LDS organizations a charter member of Stephen Markham chapter of Utah pioneers, and active in obtaining a marker at the old Indian fort here.
Of her five sons and three daughters one son, Henry Rogers Markham survives. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Leland LDS Ward Chapel by William Larsen, bishop. Bishop will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery under direction of Claudin Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the Claudin Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Leland Chapel Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
