Jack Sumerow and Sally Irene Sumerow adopted Jefferson Crane Cleveland in approximately 1958 (give or take a year). They both passed away after Jeff was an adult and he went to live after that in Ennis with his birth mother, Carolyn Price Crane Cleveland Hall at 202 E. Milam Street. Jeff had juvenile diabetes and he passed away from complications of diabetes at Navarro Hospital in Corsicana, Texas.
