Obituary

From the Auburn Citizen, Tuesday, April 27, 1909:[1]

Mrs. Amanda Tompkins, widow of the late Levin Tompkins, died at her home in Sempronius about 1 o'clock Sunday morning. Mrs. Tompkins was 76 years of age and had lived in Sempronius all her life. She is survived by one brother, two sisters, and one daughter, Mrs. Irving Tinker. Mrs. Tompkins had lived on the old place in Sempronius about 60 years. She had always been a bright, resolute woman and had numerous friends. Funeral services will be held at the late home tomorrow at 2 p. m. The Rev. Steven Hancock will officiate and burial will be made in Kelloggsville cemetery.
