Hannah was born circa 1804 in New Brunswick. She was a daughter of John Cleveland and Lydia (Jewett) Cleveland of Sheffield.[1]
She married Joseph Burpee in Sheffield on March 31, 1830.[2] He was a son of
Joseph and Hannah were a farmer. They lived at Sheffield before moving to Waterville, Carleton County prior to 1851 where they were among the earliest settlers of that area. Joseph was also a mill owner.[3]
Hannah passed away on October 30, 1891 in Fort Fairfield, Maine at the age of 87.[4] She was interred at the Waterville Community Cemetery.[1][5]
