Sarah Jane "Jennie" married Joseph Turner. Children: Elsa, James Cleveland, Joseph "Bernard", (triplets: Allan, Alvin, Albert), Tommie, Marion Rebecca, Minnie Ward, Randall Forrest.
Three of their children (Tommie, Marion & Minnie) were at the New London school when it exploded. Though there were injuries, amazingly, they all survived. Her youngest child, Randall, was in the elementary building and was okay.
