Palmer was born in 1926. He is the son of Berryman Click and Marjorie Corbin.
"Palmer “Bud” Click, 78, of Greeley died Thursday, Aug. 26, at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit, Greeley.
He was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Covington, Ky., to Berryman F. and Marjorie C. (Corbin) Click.
On Feb. 16, 1952, he married Mary Lou Berkemyer in Norwood, Ohio.
Mr. Click was raised in Covington and graduated from Dixie High School. He entered the Army at Patterson Field, Ohio, and served with the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was awarded the American Theatre Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged as a corporal on Oct. 30, 1945. He then attended and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in aeronautical engineering.
Mr. Click was an aeronautical engineer with Martin Marietta for more 40 years. He was instrumental in the development of the external tank of the space shuttle program. He loved sports of all kinds, especially basketball and auto racing. He loved working on his Model A Ford and also enjoyed traveling. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Click was a member of the Church of the Brethren and also belonged to the Martin Co. Retirees Club."[1]
