Biography

Margaret Clifford was born about 1497 at Brougham Castle, Brougham, Westmoreland, England,[1] the daughter of Sir Henry Clifford, 10th Lord de Clifford, known as the Shepherd Lord, and his 1st wife Anne St John.[2]

Margaret married Cuthbert Radcliffe, Sheriff of Northumberland, son of Edward Radcliffe and Anne Carrington, on 6 Jan 1515 at Chapel of Barton, Craven, Yorkshire, England; They had 3 children:[1]

1) George
2) Anthony
3) Jane, m. 1st Robert Ogle, 5th Baron Ogle; m. 2nd Sir John Forster of Bambrough)

Margaret Clifford died in 1550 at England.
