The third of seven sisters: The third of the seven sisters, Abigail married Nathaniel Stowers of Stockton (Republican Journal, 21 Nov1889). Abigail Stowers is the only one of the seven now living. Her sons are J.B. Stowers, Clifford L. Stowers and Nathaniel B. Stowers, all captains of vessels (ibid).
