Peter, son and heir of Peter de Mauley, Knt., 2nd Lord Mauley, by Eleanor de Furnival, was born c1300. Peter married Margaret "before 16 April 1322 (date of pardon for acquiring lands without license)".
Detached parents: This profile was moved to be a daughter of Robert & Maud (de Clare) Clifford. It had been attached as a daughter of Robert, 3rd Baron Clifford & Isabel (Berkeley) Clifford (Clifford-1545 & Berkeley-5). I found no evidence that Robert and Isabel (Berkeley) de Clifford had a daughter named Margaret. However, Robert and Maud (de Clare) de Clifford did have a daughter Margaret (b "early 1300s") who married Peter Mauley. ~ Noland-165, August 23, 2015

Clifford-786 and Clifford-424 appear to represent the same person because: I changed the parents of Clifford-424, as there's no evidence she was the daughter of Robert & Isabel (especially with attached husband Mauley... who is shown as marrying Margaret, dau. of Robert & Maud). I also changed her birth year to match Clifford-786.
