Joseph's birthdate and place are unknown. Online sources estimate it occurred between 1699 and 1717.

Joseph Clift married Joyce Barrett on 22 June 1743 in St Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginia. [1][2] Another source (Ancestry) shows Joseph Clift married Jane Barrett 22 January 1743 in King George County, Virginia.[3]

Online sources estimate the death of Joseph Clift to have occurred about 1739 to 1748.
