I'm a native of Michigan, have lived in Mexico since 1952, have RootsMagic with over 2,000 names, most unverified. I'm a novice at genealogy and would like to learn. I really don't know my way around wikitree. I am fluent in Spanish and English, have been a teacher of every level, including postgraduate. How can I help?

Hi Robert!

Welcome to WikiTree! We have a wonderful collaborative community here and would love to have the benefit of your knowledge. There is a Help Index that covers all aspects of WikiTree. Since you're starting out in genealogy, I'd suggest you start with the following page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:How_to_Get_Started_with_Genealogy

Once you are ready to continue there is a link in the upper right-hand corner of every page, "Help". If you click on it and choose "Help Index", this is the place to go to get answers. It has a search function as well.

Since you have uploaded your gedcom file, you may find the tutorial one of our members created for the GEDCOMpare process that others found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

Let me know if you have any questions or issues as you go!
