I was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. My parents (both deceased) were R. Bruce Clodfelter (1911 - 1978) and Pauline Mickey Clodfelter (1922 or '23 - 1976). I am currently seeking information regarding my ancestors' arrival from Switzerland in 1743, and their subsequent migration to North Carolina. I am also interested in finding information about my father during the period of 1928 -'35 and regarding his service as a part of General Patton's staff in WWII.

As an actor, director and tour manager I've participated in over 100 international tours in 35 countries. I've been managing director of the Anglo-American touring theatre company, ADG-Europe, since 1996. After residing in Munich for almost 30 years I moved back to the US (New York) in 2014, but continue to direct and perform in Europe.

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.

Hi,

As you have been a member of WikiTree for about a week now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.

Has the New Member How-To  been helpful or left you with any questions?

I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.  Sometimes links don't work in emails.  If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Ludwig :)
