Birth, Marriage, and Death

Jesse Mathias Clodfelter was born on 3 February 1868 in Forsyth County, North Carolina. His parents were Sanford Clodfelter and Mary Ann Proctor Clodfelter.

Jesse and Sarah Caudle were married on 13 December 1891 in Lewisville, Forsyth County. Jesse was twenty three and Sarah was twenty. Her parents were Jacob Caudle Caudle-287 and Nancy E Gough Caudle Gough-952 of Yadkin Couny. ^[1]

Jesse died on 6 July 1938 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth, North Carolina at age 70. He was buried in Woodland Cemetery. Some other things we learn from his death record are that he was a tobacco worker and at the time of his death he lived at 1605 E. 23rd St, Winston-Salem. ^[2]
