Biography
Minerva Close was born 8 Apr 1830 in Hart County, Kentucky.[1]
In 1850 Minerva 21 and living with her husband Edmund 24 in Green, Kentucky. They had Gabriel age 2 and Sarah 4 months.[2]
In 1870 Minerva was 40 and Edmund T. was 44 and were living in Powder Mill, Hart County. Their children in the home with them were Fielding T. 16, William J, 14, John T. 12, James G. 3, Margaret J. 1. Elizabeth Daily 19 was also in the home. Elizabeth is most likely their daughter and the mother of the youngest 2 in the household.[3]
Minerva died on 9 Dec 1896 in LaRue County, Kentucky.[4]
