Biography

Barbara Frances Closs was born on 12 December 1854 in Pennsylvania, United States to Nicholas Closs and Margaret Black. [1]

In 1860 and 1870, Barbara lived with her parents and siblings in Dubuque, Dubuque County, Iowa. She was a student. [2] [3]

On 11 March 1879, Barbara married Edwin W. Beedle in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States. She was 24, and he was 27. [4]

In 1880, Barbara and Edwin were living on West Monroe Street in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States. [5]

In 1900, Barbara and Edwin were living on Monroe Street in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States with their children: Francis M., Margarette, and Mable, as well as a lodger. [6]

In 1910, Barbara and Edwin were living on Princeton Avenue in Chicago Ward 32, Cook, Illinois, United States with their daughters, Francis M. and Mabel A. [7]

In 1920, Barbara, now a widow, was living on Indiana Avenue in Chicago Ward 6, Cook County, Illinois, United States with her daughter, Mable. [8]

Barbara passed away on 29 November 1931 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States at the age of 76. She was buried on 2 December 1931 at Mt. Olivet in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States. [9]
