Swift was Sioux.
We are seeking a more specific designation than "Sioux" which is the only designation we have so far from the census rolls.
This profile appears to represent the grandfather of Mollie Cica Landreaux based on the statement in Mollie's obituary that says she was raised by "her grandparents Swift Cloud and his wife." No other information is found for this couple, who apparently had died before the first Lakota censuses were taken in the 1880's.

A previous version of this profile claimed she was spouse of Brave Hawk and mother of Hinlutawe.
Note that there is nothing on the census rolls (see below) that identifies her husband or children and the census records below refer to a different person, a woman.
