I was adopted when I was 2 1/2 years old. I never knew Robert Welch Clough; he had passed away before I found my birth family. He was born in Wisconsin, lived some years in Colorado Springs, CO., and passed away in Wisconsin. He was the father of me and my full sister, Carole Ann Doyle/Karen Swanson. After the war, he married and had another family. I've not found any information on them.
Winter of 2018, DNA verified that he was my father; Ancestry DNA matches found my 1st cousin, a daughter of his only sibling, Verda Welch.
