Sarah (Clough) Marshall was born in Yorkshire, England.

Sarah was born in 1857. She was the daughter of Robert Clough and Isabella Robinson.

On 7 April 1861 Isabella (34) lived in Skipton, Yorkshire, England [1] with John Clough (10), Jemima Clough (6), Sarah Clough (3), James Robinson (27) & Margaret Robinson (23).

In 1862 the Clough family departed Liverpool on board Vanguard and arrived in Melbourne, Australia on 21 June 1862.[2]

Sarah Clough married Robert Marshall on 25 October 1888 in Bendigo, Victoria. [3] [4]

Wedding. - Another of those happy unions when of late have been rather frequent in the ….?.. took place yesterday afternoon, when Mr. Robert Marshal, the well-known mining manager, was wedded to Miss Sarah Clough, of Eaglehawk. The ceremony was celebrated at the residence of the bride, the happy couple leaving by the evening train for Sorrento, where they intend to spend their honeymoon.

Son Ray Blyth Marshall was born in 1889 in Eaglehawk, Bendigo, Victoria. [6]

Robert passed away in 1897 in California Gully and in the 1900s Sarah lived in Avoca, Victoria.[7]

She passed away in 1937. [8]
