Charlotte was the daughter of Louis Cloutier and Genevieve Chapelain. She was born 20 Apr 1732 and baptized the same day in Château-Richer. Her godparents were Pierre Chapelain (possibly her maternal grandfather or uncle) and Angelique Taillon who both sign the record. [1][2]
On 26 Oct 1750, in Château-Richer, Louis Trudel son of Pierre Trudel and Marguerite Jacob married Charlotte Cloutier daughter of Louis Cloutier and Genevieve Chaplain. Witnesses included Pierre Chaplain (signature), almost certainly the bride's godfather as the signatures are the same who is possibly her maternal grandfather or uncle), several other witnesses are mentioned and there are multiple signatures. A death/burial record has not been identified for her in Québec parish Records. She is recorded as deceased at the marriage of her daughter on 6 Nov 1775:
On 6 Nov 1775, in St-Augustin, Charles Huot son of deceased Jean Huot and Françoise Fiset married Genevieve Trudel daughter of Louis Trudel and deceased Charlotte Cloutier. Several named relatives are witness including the bride's father, no signatures. [4]

On 2 Jun 1777, in St-Augustin, Charles Martel son of Charles Martel and Madeleine Ratté married Marie Angelique Trudel daughter of Louis Trudel and deceased Charlotte Cloutier. Witnesses included: Groom- his father and his brother Augustin Martel; Bride- her father (signature) and her uncle Pierre Chaplain (signature). [5]
