Jane was born in 1593, the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Clutterbuck. She was bap. at Leonard Stanley, 2 Nov 1593. Her father was a yeoman of Downton, Leonard Stanley.

Her mother Elizabeth was bur. at Leonard Stanley, 14 June, 1611. Her father Richard died 8 Jun, 1629. He was bur. 10 Jun 1629, Leonard Stanley. ^[1] His will dated 8 Mar 1626/30 was proved at Gloucester 13 May 1630.^[2]

She m. Andrew Pegler, 26 Oct 1617 Leonard Stanley and had issue.
