The death took place suddenly on December 7 at Nambucca Heads, where he was on a fishing holiday, of Mr. Thomas Frederick Cobcroft, respected Maraylya resident and former Windsor businessman, at the age of 76 years. Born at Wilberforce, deceased in his younger days was a noted horseman, winning many awards in equestrian events, and throughout his life retained his keen interest in horses, being regarded as an authority on breeding and conformation. For many years he conducted a grocery and produce business in Windsor, in which field he earned a wide respect and popularity. Shortly after the death of his late wife he went to live some 16 years ago with his son, Mr. Thomas Cobcroft, where he resided up to the time of his death. In addition to his four sons, John (Allawah), Thomas (Maraylya), William (Balranald) and Harry (Pitt Town), he is survived by one sister, Mrs. F. W. Collison (Haberfield), one step-sister, Mrs. G. Milsom (Goulburn), and two stepbrothers, Len Reynolds (Newcastle) and W. A. Reynolds (Roseville). After a service in St. Matthew's Church of England, Windsor, on December 9 the interment was conducted in the adjoining cemetery, the Rev. R. T. Hallahan officiating. The funeral arrangements were conducted by Mr. Chandler, of Windsor.
