Penelope Cobcroft was baptised at St Paul Covent Garden on the 22nd of April, 1712.[1][2] She was the daughter of hair merchant John Cobcroft and Elizabeth Harris.
She married George Gordon by licence at Lincolns Inn Chapel, Holborn, London on 7 May 1730.[3] George died in December, 1833.
Her second marriage was to baker George Macky at St Clements Danes, Westminster, on 30 September, 1738.
She was mentioned in her father's 1749 will with her husband George "Markey" - each were to receive a gold ring worth a guinea.[4]
She died in December, 1798, and was buried in the St Andrew's churchyard on 29 December, 1798.
