Biography

William Cobcroft is one of twins.

William Cobcroft was born on the 6th of November, 1714, and baptised with his twin brother John on the 23rd of November at St Anne, Soho.^[1] He was the son of hair merchant John Cobcroft and Elizabeth.

in 1731 WIlliam was apprenticed to barber surgeon George Fisher.^[2]

He probably died before 1749, as he did not appear in his father's 1749 will.^[3]
