A wedding of interest to the district was celebrated at "The Beckenham" Congregational Church, Mascot, Sydney, on Wednesday, 25th of February. Pastor S. Horner officiated. Ronald Hope, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Cobcroft, of "Mooneba," Kempsey, was married to Rita, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Beckenham, of Greenhill, Kempsey. The bride, who was given away by her uncle (Mr. S. Beckenham) was attired in a cream gabardine tailored costume, with hat on suite. She carried a bouquet of pink Enchantress carnations, which, with a gold wristlet watch, were the gifts of the bridegroom. The bride was attended by Miss Amy Beckenham, who acted as maid of honor, whilst Mr. Arthur Cobcroft supported his brother. The church was beautifully decorated by lady friends of the bride. If good wishes count Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Cobcroft should indeed be very happy. The presents were numerous and costly. The happy couple's future home will be "Atir," Beaumann's road, Peakhurst, Hurstville.
