Biography

James Cockran^[1] was born in 1749 in Augusta (later Harrison) County, Virginia].^[2]

On 20 July 1777, when he was in his later twenties, he married Temperance Morgan. She bore him one known child, a son whom they named Zackquill.^[1]

On 13 November 1830, when he was eighty-one, he died in Harrison County, Virginia],, Harrison County, Virginia, USA.^[2] of unknown causes.

He is buried in Middleville Road Cemetery, Harrison County, West Virginia.^[2] HARRISON Co., VA, USA.
