Charles Cochran was born in Indiana in Apr 1853 to Enoch Cochran and Frances Palmer.[1][2] On 16 Nov 1885, he married Rachel Anderson in Marshall, Indiana.[3]

In the 1900 Census, Rachel reported that she had given birth to three children, none of whom were living.[6] According to FAG, Charles died in 1926, and is buried at Wooden Cemetery, Etna Green, Kosciusko Co., Indiana; he was 73 years old.[7] His widow, Rachel Anderson survived him 16 years. In 1940 she was living with her son John Adam Cochran and his family.[8] She died on 17 Aug 1942 at age 77.[9]
