Herman was born in 29 August 1922 in Fort Dodge, Webster, Iowa, United States. He was the son of Herman Cochran and Bertha Hamell.[1]

He passed away on 10 March 1934. He is interred at Carpenter Cemetery Fort Dodge, Webster, Iowa, United States [3]
