Mary Minerva Heath Cochran was born at Monmouth, Maine in 1807, the daughter of James Cochran and Jane Moore.
She married Henry Simon Marston Dearborn (1812-1839) about 1835. They were the parents of a daughter, Mariette M Dearborn b. 1839, d. 1923.
The 1850 US census for Rockland, Maine lists the residents of a home as head of household Ivory T Hovey (47), a bootmaker, Jane M Hovey (43), William T Hovey (11), a student, George W Robinson (24), a merchant tailor, Ester [sic] E Robinson (24), Mary M Dearborn (39), and Mariette M Dearborn (9), a student. All except for George were born in Maine; he was born in Massachusetts. Note: Mary M Dearborn is the sister of Jane M Hovey, and Mariette M Dearborn in her daughter.
The 1860 US census for Rockland, Maine lists the residents of a home as James Cochran (81), a physician, his wife Jane Cochran (81), son George W Cochran (45), an insurance agent, widow Mary Dearborn (42), and her daughter Mariette Dearborn (21), housekeeper. James has a personal estate of $300 while George has a personal estate of $1000. Note: Mary Dearborn (Mary Minerva Heath Cochran) is the daughter of James and Jane and Mariette is their granddaughter.
The 1870 US census for Rockland, Maine lists the residents of the home of head of household George W Cochrane (42), an insurance agent, Minerva Dearborn (61), keeping house and Marietta Dearborn (31). Note: George and Minerva (Mary) are siblings and Marietta her daughter.
Mary passed away about 1871 (unsourced date).
