Biography

Margaret was born in 1814, the daughter of James Cochran and Jane Moore.

She married Emery Sawyer at Hope, Maine on 7 Sep 1841. They were the parents of three known children:

1. James Emery Cochran Sawyer b. 12 Aug 1842 at Boston, Massachusetts, d. 3 Jun 1923 at Searsport, Maine
2. Lucy Jane Sawyer b. about 1845 at Searsport, d. 29 Dec 1864 at Searsport
3. Sarah Louise Sawyer b. 12 May 1846 at East Thomaston (now Rockland), Maine d. 20 Jul 1904 at Searsport
