Biography

John Brydges Cockburn was born in 1870. He was the son of Sir Edward Cludde Cockburn, 8th Bart, and his wife Mary Ann Frances Elliot. In the 1871 UK census, he was in his parents' home at King's Caple.^[1]

In 1919 he married Isabel Hunter McQueen, and they had two children. In 1947, on the death of the 10th Baronet without a legitimate son, he became the 11th Baronet. He passed away in 1949.^[2]
