Biography

Mary (Cockrum) Hudson was an Arkansan.

Mary Ellie Cockrum was born on 17 April 1852 in Arkansas, daughter of Edward Briant Cockrum and Albertine (Beck) Cockrum.[1]

Mary married John Harrod Hudson . Their children were:

  1. James N Hudson
  2. Verna Belle Hudson
  3. Florence Hudson
  4. Albert Hudson
  5. Mary Elizabeth Hudson[2]
  6. Alice (Hudson) Tripp
  7. Bertha Hudson
  8. Pearl Hudson
  9. Edna Muriel Hudson.[3] In 1910 Mary and John were living in Montana with their daughter Alice.[4]

Mary died on 25 February 1914 in Baxter County aged 61. She is buried at Cockrum Cemetery, Lone Rock, Arkansas.[5]

This Mary Cockrum was conflated with her cousin, Mary J. Cockrum (1860-). Removed children and spouse that belong to the other Mary.
