Biography
Edward Codrington, son of Edward Codrington and his wife, Rebecca Lestourgeon, was baptised at St Botolph Bishopsgate on the 8th of June 1770. [1]
He married Jane Hall of Jamaica at Old Windsor in Berkshire on the 27th of December 1802. [2]

On the 25th of February 1812 one of his midshipmen, Henry Adam Lennox, fell overboard and was lost. The young man was son of the 4th Duke of Richmond. [3]
Jane died in 1837 and was buried at Brighton in Sussex on the 26th of January. [4]
Edward died after a few months' illness on the 28th of April 1851 and was buried in St. Peter's Church, Eaton Square. [5]
