Birth 1863 Norwich
Clara Louisa Coe was born in Norwich late in 1863, perhaps 7 Oct 1863. It could not be on that day in 1864 as declared in the Register of 1939.[1]
Child 1871 Norwich
In 1871 Clara Coe 7 is living with her widowed mother Pamela Coe 44, , living with her seven children in Orchard Street Norwich. Four of the children are aged 17 to 23 and working, while the three youngest daughters are aged from 10 down to 3 year old Catherine born only a year before her father's death and at school. The two eldest daughters are described as machinist, probably sewing machine. [2]
